The church building
Since 1992 our church is accommodated in the hall of the old cinema in Elhovo. The building is very old and too high therefore we can not warm it during the winter time. When we conduct our services during the winter, the temperature inside is about 5 degrees below zero. All people who come to church must be wear with hats, gloves, coats and scarves during the entire service. Above all, the water comes in through the walls when it rains so it is damp.
In May this year an opportunity opened itself to us to purchase our own prayer home. For this purpose we needed to take part in an action. With God`s help we won the auction and by the end
of June we managed to pay off all the money required for the building. It was a miracle from God
as in our own human understanding we could not see how, for such a short period of time, we could find the necessary means.
But God is alive and He does miracles!
Now we have new challenges in front of us: we need to build extension, to refurbish the interior
of the building, to repair the roof, to build rooms for the children, for the youth, for guests…
